SMC are acquired by Artelia, an international multidisciplinary consultancy, engineering and project management group of 8,600 staff world-wide operating in over 40 countries.

Acquire structural engineering capability through combining the staff of affiliate, SPC Consulting Engineers.

Sindhu Maunsell become independent, operating under the name of SMC Consulting Engineers (SMC).
2001
As a result of AECOM‘s acquisition of Maunsell in 2000, Sindhu Maunsell also become part of this group.

Founded as “Sindhu Maunsell Consultants” - a joint venture firm between Sindhu Pulsirivong and Maunsell, an international firm of consulting engineers.
