The client, PTTGC, currently operates 3 jetties at PTT GC-6 at Map Ta Phut Industrial Port.
SMC were tasked to undertake the detail design of a fourth jetty by the client as well as the dredging of a swing basin and berth pocket for vessels.
Our scope of work entailed:

- Site investigation
- Dynamic mooring analysis
- Preparation of design criteria, calculations, detailed design and specifications
- Preparation of bills of quantities and cost estimation
- Project management of the dredging and jetty construction
- Assistance in preparation of issue for bid documents including scope of works descriptions and tendering, dredging and construction schedules
- Assistance in selection of bidders and technical evaluation of the bids
