The Blue Line Extension Project – Contract 1, is a design and construct contract to build a two-station extension to the Bangkok underground system.  It consists of twin running tunnels from the existing system through the two stations to a further station to be built under Contract 2.  Cut and cover sections of tunnel, ventilation and two intervention shafts, and three crossings under khlong bridges requiring underpinning or replacement, are included in the works.
 
We were commissioned as sub-consultants to the lead cosultant to carry out all  civil/structural engineering detail design of Wat Mongkhon Station and three ventilation shafts.
